Not to long ago Joel and I decided to adopt a new family member. We were lucky enough to save a cute little black kitten. He had been days from being put to sleep when he was rescued. I still can't believe that such an adorable, lovable little guy had such a tough time finding a home! I guess this years kitten season was a large one and they were having a tough time adopting so many.
We named him Eros (Greek's version of Cupid) because he is such a little lover. He purrs almost non-stop and just loves to snuggle. In fact I woke this morning with him asleep on my chest. When he gets real lovey his purr almost chirps with excitement. I think he looks just like a little black panther.
The best part is how much Eros and Cleo have become best buds. Our dog Cleo loves to play...with everybody. It doesn't matter if you are dog, cat, human, bug...she wants to be your bud and have a good time. Eros loves this and we often find them either playing together (Cleo loves to scoop up Eros with her paw) or curled up together asleep. My fav moments are when they start to clean each other. It makes me want to run and get a video camera. OK...enough of me gushing on and on.
